JEO Announces Jeff Henson as New President
On Monday, May 16, 2022, Jeff Henson was named President of JEO Consulting Group, Inc. Henson has been with JEO Consulting Group since 2013. Outgoing President, Rob Brigham, transitioned into the role of CEO for JEO Inc., the holding company for JEO Consulting Group and other companies.
Brigham has been with JEO Consulting Group since 1989 and served as President and CEO beginning in 2007. Under his leadership, the Nebraska-based firm more than tripled in size and expanded in Iowa and into Kansas. In his new role, Brigham will focus on growing each of the subsidiaries of JEO, Inc. On the transition, Brigham said, “I have thoroughly enjoyed the last 15 years as CEO of JEO Consulting Group, and I will equally enjoy the next 15 years helping the entire JEO, Inc. structure thrive.”
Henson, a native of Columbia, Missouri, began his career at JEO as an intern. In 2013, he joined as a full-time member of the Hazard Mitigation and Emergency Planning team. He worked with jurisdictions across Nebraska, Colorado, Iowa, New Jersey, and South Dakota, developing strategies to reduce local vulnerabilities to natural hazards.
During his tenure at JEO Consulting Group, Henson has served in multiple roles, including Project Manager, Department Leader, and Director of Business Development. As President, Henson will work with the Board of Directors and leadership team to write the next chapter of JEO’s success story, focusing on building solid day-to-day operations and reinforcing JEO’s people-first culture.
